Black is printing solarized grey

Hi
iMac with CS6 and Canon MG6150.
Area of black in my photos seem to get a solarized effect
when printed and the black turns a muddy silvery grey
with black edges.
Spent hours on this with attempted solutions.
Tried different papers.
Printer fully cleaned.
Any suggestions please.

Almost sounds like it could be an issue with CS6 maybe the monitor color is different from the output. Try printing another page from another program to see about inconsistencies with the color.
