Brother MFC 7840W printer software problems

Mac user and recently downloaded the Brother Printer Software Update 2.7. Now it will not print any doc type. The printer is still connected to the network and I can still access every other function. I have tried rebooting the computer with no success. I have tried rebooting the printer with no success. Any help would be greatly appeciated.:confused:
