I'm really hoping someone can help me. I recently acquired a Brother MFC - J270w from a friend. It powers on fine. It scans fine. It connects to my wifi/computer just fine. However, it seems to have an issue when it comes to copying and printing. I keep getting error 73. When I first turned it on, it fed a piece of paper through. It didn't print on it, but it did feed the paper through. After that, nada. Here is what I've done.
Print error 73 refers to a paper jam. I've checked EVERY possible spot on this printer and there isn't any paper jam. I didn't notice a chunk or anything out of the piece of paper it did feed either.
I've cleaned the encoder strip
I've reset to factory default
I've updated firmware
Nothing is helping. I'm basically stuck with a glorified scanner.
Anyone have ANY ideas? Please help
