Brother mfc l2740dw cannot scan to pc

The Brother mfc l2740dw in connected to the wired lan router. I can print from phone, desktop pc, etc... I can scan and print, but, I can not scan to the pc. Any ideas? Using Win 11 24H2.

Disable your firewall? I read that it's directly connected, but sometimes this will work.

Tried that, did not work. When I had Norton 360 and now with Defender, firewall off.

Uninstaller and installed the full package. I see in the tools section of brother utils that the scanner driver not loading. I don't see the driver alone for download.
