Can I print from a Chromebook using my old Brother MFC-7860DW?

This MFC-7860DW printer is an older printer but it is wireless. My Chromebook can see the printer on the network, and I can actually, on the Chromebook side, see that print jobs are in the queue, but that is only from the Chromebook side. The printer does nothing. I looked at the printer details from the Chromebook and it has, as its URI: ipp://brn001ba9f44d25.local:631/duerqxesz5090 IPP is the internet printing protocol.

I am just wondering if there is anything I can do to manually set up the printer configuration on the Chromebook side so printing will actually work?

I don't have any expectations. It is an older printer, and I may just be out of luck, and need a new printer if I want this to work.
