canon 5420: transferring scanned photos...

i just got done scanning a number of old photos. have to admit, i am rather tech challenged. anyway, is there a way to transfer scanned photos so i can have one (if not more) show up on my samsung galaxy nexus?

was trying to find something in the manual, but, i just didn't see it. although, possible i just missed it and/or didn't understand.

I haven't done much scanning with my MP990, but once the scan was done, I could save it as a .jpg on my desktop computer. From there, you would need to figure out how to transfer a file from your desktop/laptop to your Samsung phone/tablet.

Does the Samsung have a usb port? Or a slot for flash-card?
