I have a Cannon Pixma MG5320 just over a year old. I have used it many times to print images to a printable disk with excellent results. However recently I’ve been having a problem with the black ink printing. It sometime dose not print the black ink at all (usually when the picture contains small areas of black) but usually starts printing the black late leaving an area with no black ink. The color inks print just fine. The problem only seems to occur while printing to disks. It has no problem on paper form the trays.

I have gone through all the trouble shooting steps; cleaning the nozzles, cleaning bottom plate and roller, and printer head alignment. I have run Nozzle checks and the pattern indicates everything is running clear with no problems.

Does anyone know what might be causing this problem.
