Canon TR4540 giving blurry printing

Please could someone help me! I am doing my head in!! I have done both manual and automatic print head alignments so many times, I have cleaned the ribbon the cartridges run on and I have cleaned the paper feed rollers and I am still getting blurry printing!! Pretty please could someone suggest something? I am about to throw thing thing in the dustbin.
