Connection problem?

Good Morning! I am wondering if anyone can help with my Canon Pixma ix6850 not printing- replaced ink tanks..performed a nozzle test..restarted the worked once about a week ago printing something from my phone then stopped. The orange light was flashing so as i say i replaced ink. I dont have a computer, could potentially use an Apple mac laptop..I have the canon print app but it cant find my printer...says there is a connection problem..? Its about 3 years old.
Would be very grateful for any help please
