DCP-L2550DW Scan to Email Under Windows 10 and Outlook 2007 No Longer Working

Hello, the scan to email function is no longer working under Windows 10 with Outlook 2007. Outlook is specified as the default email application in Windows 10 Settings. It appears to be set properly in the registry as well. The error we get is "There is no default email client or the current email client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Office Outlook and set it as the default mail client".
