Suddenly my printer will not boot to ready status and I have an error code 2f20000
I call Dell support and they weren't able to be of much help. They told me it is a firmware error and that I should update my firmware to the latest version. However, they said I probably wouldn't be able to update with the error present. She said I may need to purchase a new printer because cost of repair would exceed the cost of a new printer. (it is out of warranty).
Well she is correct it will not update because the printer has the error on the display and is not in the ready status. Is there a way to do a factory reset of the old firmware?
