I have a Dell E5151DW laser printer that's made by Brother. It's basically the same as the MFC-L2710. I attempted to do a firmware update and something went wrong. Now it's unresponsive. When I plug it in the FAX/SCAN/COPY lights flash briefly and the FAX ringer chips for a second. This repeats about once per minute while it's plugged in. Otherwise it's dead. The computer sees a composite USB device and not a printer. Any idea if this can be revived with some firmware utility tool? Thanks.
