Email print address

I used to have a HP printer which had it's own gmail address. I could attach anything to an email send an email to that address and it would print at home.

HP is now dead and I have a Canon but I can't seem to find an option with Canon that allows a gmail address to be linked to the printer.

Can anyone offer any advice? Google Cloud Print is not the same thing.
