Epson ET-3710 prints an error message multiple times daily

My Epson ET-3710 printer prints error messages. "GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus Http/1.0 Host: Localhost". Any ideas where the error is originating? My printer is connected to my Windows computer via USB. The errors stop when I disconnect the USB cable. It appears that the error is originating ffrom outside if the printer itself. The drivers are up to date. Windows itself is up to date (Windows 11). The printer prints and scans correctly.
