Epson P800 Manual Tray Issue

I have somehow messed up the manual tray, and it will no longer stay closed. Because of that, I can't print using the roller or top feeder. At least not properly. Am I the only person who has ever had problems with the manual feed tray? Apparently not. But probably the only person who has these issues on holidays.

I've already looked at them all as well as the YouTube videos. This is great for a functioning manual tray. Which this one isn't. Here was my solution: duct tape the tray shut, so I could use the other two feeds. It'll do for tomorrow's art show opening and the prints I need for that, and then I'll see if I get a more professional solution. For now, red duct tape is magic!
