Epson Register your product Riculousness

Serious problems with Epson's WEBSITE when you go to register your brand new printer. Everything you fill in works fine, until you type in your printer model ET-8500 series. It will not accept it. So I went to another epson website concerning business users, and guess what. It does not like it either. Serious mess. What other answer could there possibly be for the question: "Insert your product or model number".
