Epson SX415 -Epson Monitor 3 box unticked and greyed out

Operating System - Windows 10 Pro
Printer - Epson Stylus SX415 (Al-in-One)

I wish to disable the Epson Monitor 3 for this printer.

However on navigating to maintenance and then to Speed and Progress I find :-
1. The Disable Epson Monitor box is greyed out.

2. The box is not ticked.

This indicates that I am unable to disable the monitor at all.

In all other respects the printer works very well.

Any suggestions please ?

Control Panel -> Devices & Printers -> Right Click Printer Icon -> Select Printer Preferences -> Select Maintenance Tab -> Click Speed & Progress Button -> Check The Box "Disable Epson Status Mon -> Click OK
