As I mentioned, I have a Canon MF4570dn and its just jambs and I can use the ADF, on the glass it scan's great. I need a multipage scanner head asap.
I now have a WF-2540 free one and all I want to do is scan to replace the ADF broken in the Canon and I can't get it to work, the WF-2540 goes right into copying and I need to stop that because I have no ink and I just want it as a scanner head.....
It starts copying right away and wants to print and then I have no ink or paper and it screams paper jamb and then wants me to shut it down. I shut it down and power back up and it just goes right back into copying and then jambing. I can throw it out, but I'd rather just get the ADF to work as a scanner head...
