EPSON WF-2660 won't print at all

I recently replaced all ink cartridges but the printer would not print. I tried to clean/unclog the nozzles but it was extremely clogged and I decided to replace the entire printer head assembly. The printer will not even print the nozzle report. The printer acts like is going to print the report but the page comes out clean, not even a dot of ink in it. I tried ensuring the cables to the printer head and the nozzle controller are connected and in good shape, all seems right but the printer still will not print. Any suggestions? (other than trashing this piece of....equipment)
