Epson WF-3530 banding

Hi, have problem with my printer, horizonal banding, only get them when printing any type of pictures or copying pictures, printed the congrat page off epson after downloading new driver and it's in all colors WITH no banding, the nozzel checks are perfect, just installed a brand new print head with no new results,same thing, new ink,same, print out black & white pics,has bands also, I can print text pages with no banding.. not sure what to do with this printer,any ideas short of throwing it away and going with a laser?
