Epson XP-410 paper feed cog not engaging

Hi
I've searched everywhere for an answer and for a service manual. I'm sure someone has seen this or knows how the mechanism is supposed to reset so it engages to bring the wheel down and the paper feed back plate to pop up. I can get it to go by manually turning the gears backwards but when turned on it gives the paper jam error or a printer error depending where I start the gears off at.

Please! Anybody know what the mechanism is inside that clutch that might be faulty keeping it from engaging when turning forward?
Anyone have the service manual for these?
