ET-3760 Glossy Printing Failure

I have a used ET-3760 that completely fails printing on glossy paper. The ink comes out on the paper wet as it can be and looks like ...really bad. The image
looks like you dropped ink onto a piece of plastic sheet, no absorption by the paper. Just a blurred wet mess. It never dries either as far as I can tell.

I am using Epson Glossy paper and the basic ink for this printer. I thought that the reseller may have used non -Epson ink so I drained and replaced the ink with Epson brand. No change in the print.

I like the printer I just want to occasionally print out a higher quality image.

Any suggestions?

Cheers.

Did you choose Glossy paper in the print settings window? Judging by how you're describing it, I'm not sure if that would help. How are prints on normal paper? Have you tried any other kind of photo paper? Semi-Gloss, Luster? How were the results?

This printer had a great idea for removing the ink cartridges completely. However it's one of the first of it's kind like that. And knowing that, there is A LOT of room for improvement on the design.
