Brother MFC5460CN, MacBook Pro, running Mavericks.
"There is a paper Jam" appears when I attempt to print. Sometimes it goes ahead and prints anyway! Other times I lift the cover and reclose to get action, after waiting for a while. The message on the LCD at first suggested I look at the Users Guide on Maintenance. Lately that has not shown up.
During this time I have never been able to find anything to clear!
More a bother than an emergency at the moment.
Just for interest~ The printer was stored for several years because of illness. I bought new ink, printed a photo that looked pretty good, but soon the red disappeared. I did a head cleaning, maybe 24 times, now the red has shown up again.
