Currently have scanner that bites through carbon copy forms. Tears them up real good. Can i get a recommendation for a quick scanner, does long form scanning (is that a thing? like a ton of pages attached to each other vertically.) and is real nice and gentle. Give me speed too. The bill doesn't matter.

I have a Canon MP990 (single sheet at a time) and MX850 with ADF (automatic document feeder). I don't do much scanning (only several times a year), so "consider the source".
* Both devices have the scanner mechanism under the glass platen, so I can't see how a single original could get damaged, especially with the MP990.
* The MX850 seems to handle multiple documents ok, but I've rarely used it for that. Ever? Maybe not.
