There is no driver listed for The Brother HL3140CW using Linux, Ubuntu Mate 17.04 or Linux Mint 18.1 Mate. The computer recognizes the printer and uses ipp://BRW331CA5427E.local:631/ipp/print as the Device URI. When you send a job to the printer it starts with "Waiting for job to complete" and takes 50 seconds before printing. It does in fact print, but I would sure like to get the proper driver installed. I've used the printer just fine when there were a couple of older Linux distributions that did list the proper driver.
