How do I dump the printers memery?

I think that's my problem, I think I sent a bunch of giberish to the printer cause the documet was writen with works and sent to the epsen720 with Word, that didn't work!! Now it doesn't matter what I send to the printer, it always does the same thing, prints a few really strenge looking carectors of giberish and kicks out the paper and prints a few more carectors of giberish and kicks out the paper and just keeps going like that. There's nothing wong with these documents I'm sending to test with, they were fine before but it seem as though they have to wait for this other giberish??

Have you tried turning the printer off at the socket for a while and clearing the PC's printer queue?
