How to connect HP Photosmart Plus printer to Apple iPad/tablet

Hi,

I’m new to these forums. I recently purchased an Apple iPad/tablet and want to connect it to my HP Photosmart Plus printer. How do I go about this? I’ve tried to find an app online that I can download to my tablet but this printer is not listed on any of the app sites. Do Apple iPads/tablets not connect to HP Photosmart Plus printers.

If anyone could let me know I would be most thankful.
