Hp Deskjet 3050 "Incompatible Black Cartridge"

When my HP Laptop updated overnight, it changed. Now when I go to print, it says Incompatible Black Cartridge. I went to the Ports setting in the print properties and tried to select the "Enable bidirectional support" option, but it was not available to check the box.

How do I use off brand ink in the DeskJet Printer?
