HP LaserJet 1100: paper stops at fuser

Some time ago paper began to stop occasionally as its edge just enters fuser. It is never jammed, just stops. If I feel the obstacle and help the printer to push a sheet by my hands, it can always push a sheet through fuser. Not every sheet stops. New unused sheets have more probability to be printed without my help.
