This so-called "assistant" keeps popping up every time I turn on the computer, and then it fails to load. I have gone so far as to delete every HP program I can find and reinstall only the basic drivers, but this does not solve the problem. I love my HP CP1025nw color printer, but this is driving me crazy. It considerably slows down my work. I am running Windows 8.1 and I understand there have been problems with the HP Support Assistant. I have not yet received up Windows 10 update. Is there any way on earth -- besides the Program removal, which does not work -- or using Iobit Unistaller -- which does not work -- to remove this program from my computer? Thanks.....
