hi all, my daughter is at uni and I bought her a HP5520e all in one printer to get her started. It uses HP364 cartridges. I bought a set of compatibles off ebay but the printer won't recognise them, the vendor did take them back no problem so no great loss there but the genuine HP cartridges have a new style of chip?
Anyhow bought a full set of genuine HP cartridges while I try and sort out the refilling issue.
Got the empty black cartridge, turned it over and, using a syringe dropped some black ink onto the felt? pad, it was instantly absorbed into the cartridge i continued to drip ink onto the pad until it would not absorb any more. Is this all I have to do to refill the cartridges? Will the printer accept it?. Cannot check as daughter is in uni over 100 miles away.
Any advice would be helpful.
