I have an Epson Work Force 7840 and the software for scanning is Epson Scan 2. I find this is very limited compared with my old Canon. It doesn't allow access to change any of the settings and the options are either Photo or Documents. I can't even change the dpi !! I can change things post scan on other software but why so limited?
What I would like to know if there is other independent software I can use on this model which give me more control??
If so, what do you recommend.
