Ink cartridge cover issue

Unfortunately, I took the ink cover off the printer to change the ink and my little grandson rolled over it and broke it. Now the printer won't work and keeps giving me an error code saying "cartridge cover is not closed". Where can I buy another cover for this specific machine?

It would be helpful to know what "machine" you have. Alternatively, if you locate where the cover sensor is, you can trick it to thinking it's shut with tape or a paperclip usually.

Oh no, that’s frustrating! It sounds like your printer is detecting that the cover isn’t properly closed, which is why it’s throwing that error. I’d recommend checking with the manufacturer’s website first they often sell replacement parts like ink cartridge covers. If you can’t find it there, you might want to try looking on eBay or Amazon, where people sometimes sell used or refurbished parts. You could also reach out to the manufacturer’s customer service to see if they can point you in the right direction or even provide the part directly. Good luck, and I hope you can get your printer up and running again soon!

You may not even need a cover for it if you get creative. One of my main printers runs without a cover at all. I used a paperclip to deactivate the ink cover sensor. Some use electrical tape. If you can locate where the cover sensor is.
