iP-90; Resetting the ink level monitor...

I just installed two new cartridges but the printer is still reporting very low ink levels to the computer monitoring software. I've followed reset instructions from several google searches AND from the users guide but nothing works to show the level at 99% as it should.

Does anyone have a tried and true method of resetting the Canon iP-90?
