I replaced the print head. The 4 ink tubes remain empty and I get blank pages. I've removed it to check the ribbon cable and ink connector.
The printer was working fine except missing pixels even after a flush. The install was clean with minimum disruption to the rest of the printer.
Questions:
1) Is it necessary to "prime" the lines and printhead. I could use the flush kit.
2) The replacement printhead was sold as new OEM but it was from ebay. It was very clean but had a little black material on the slides. If it was a used failed printhead could it prevent ink from at least filling the tubes.
Any other ideas will be appreciated.
