LAN Network says network cable unplugged?

I have an Epson WF-7720 printer/scanner combo. I'm not sure what went wrong today. I went to scan a document on the document table and it starts to scan and then stops half way and stalls indefinitely. I tried to restart the printer and the computer and still having the issue. I decided to try changing it from wifi to wired lan cable. I have the ethernet cable directly from the printer to a switch which is also connected to two different PCs and the router. The switch and printer both show a link light that the cable is connected. But, when I go to the network settings on the printer and click on "Wired LAN Setup", I get the error "Connect the router to the printer with a LAN cable." Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

Is there an option to connect a USB cable and scan that way?
This will bypass all the network options.

Do a factory reset of the printer which will cause it to loose all settings.
Reconnect to your network and try again
