Lexmark C752 pink background

I have a Lexmark C752 printer. Recently it has started printing with an uneven pink background. When I looked at the toners there was a line of toner on the cartridge and also on the belt. I photographed the magenta cartridge.

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

I had 2 of these printers; one for spare parts that I acquired when I needed to replace a print head a few years ago. So if a particular part has malfunctioned, chances are I have it to replace.
