So far I'm getting convinced that what I'm trying to find doesn't exist but I thought I'd give this forum a shot.
Both my cad plotter and my photo printer, (Epson Stylus Pro 4800), are old and tired. I am so close to pulling the trigger on an Epson P6000 but if I can find as good of a photo printer that can also do production cad drawings I would be very happy. My cad stuff is almost always 24 x 36 and I often need to print up 80-100 sheets and hit the ground running.
I can't wait 2 minutes per sheet and haven't found a good photo printer that takes 36" rolls that can do production stuff.
I wondered about the P7000 44" printer but I think that might be overkill. I would do 44" prints once every 2 years.
Am I dreaming?
