I have an MFC-8690DW network printer, I'm trying to update the firmware for it, I'm currently trying to upgrade it from the webui and trying to find the actual firmware file for this printer to update it, I'm currently on Linux Mint also I've tried a Windows machine and downloaded the Firmware updater to try to update printer, but the program keeps popping up a Model of printer not found, even when connected via USB, my question is is there a site I can find the actual firmware file download for this printer?
