Hi, I already have two other Brother MFC machines in my work system and no problems installing, except I recall needing to do it in safe mode, but that was a couple of years back and memories fade!
The new machine will not install. I have tried in safe mode, and run as administrator. I have fully uninstalled the other two machines using the Brother uninstall software, they are gone for the time being.
The install software can find the printer and gives me options for full install or custom. Then during install an error message appears for the drivers saying that the install is unsuccessful and to close down all applications, restart , and reload Brother software. Still doesn't work, same error message.
Has anyone else had this with this machine or others, and how did you get around it?
