My Canon MG5350 was working OK scanning over my WLAN so long as I preselected the computer to scan to using “IJ Network Scanner Selector EX” in the Canon Utilities. Then, a couple of weeks ago, it would print but not scan. I temporarily moved it to te computer location and connected it to USB. It then scanned and printed OK.
I have tried reinstalling software from my installation disk with no effect. Contacted Canon help and provided screen shots of wireless connection which is OK. Final suggestion from Canon was to ditch the printer, as it is no longer supported, and buy a new printer/scanner. I don’t think that is acceptable.
Should have said that computer is using Windows 10 and that Canon software doesn’t seem to be available for the OS/scanner combination
I see other versions of Canon scanner appear to have same problem around 10 August 2025.
Any thoughts ?
