MP 530 and CLI 221 refill set

Just had a young man tell me this refill pack would be compatible with my printer but I'm having my doubts since my MP 530 isn't listed on the box.

Will they work or should I return them.

* The MP530 uses CLI-8 dye ink and PGI-5 black pigment cartridges.
* It is one of the slower CLI-8 based printers with only 1,856 nozzles, but is otherwise a pretty good printer,
* especially if you tackle the learning curve of cart refilling.
