Hi,
Our Canon Mp780 printer would not power on recently. I brought it in to an electronics pro friend of mine who diagnosed it as having a bad diode (T2D 46 diode) on the power board. It's likely a $5 component but I haven't been able to locate it. Of course Canon won't sell the components individually. The cost of the whole board is not practical (more than buying a new printer). Can anyone offer help? Maybe a cross reference part number for the diode or do you have a board from a machine with different problems?
I greatly appreciate your help. Again it's a T2D 46 diode

more info

I wanted to post more details to see if that helps. The power supply board is model
MF310 and the diode placement is at D55. It's marked T2D 46. Still can't find it but I really don't know where to look other than a google search. Any help is appreciated.
