Need to remove Stray Push Pin fgrom My MP610

Hi, I own a Canon MFD MP610 (which I really like) that no longer prints due to paper jams. After trying everything in the manual to fix the problem without the success I opened the rear cover of the printer and saw, deep inside a stray metal push pin with a plastic top. If I can find out how to open the printer I can remove the push pin and I suspect all will be well.

Can somebody reply with instructions how to disassemble the printer or send me a link for the service manual? I need to print boarding passes and airline tickets.

BTW, I think is a great printer.
