I bought a HP Color Laserjet Pro M254nw printer, (their spelling of colour), and was told I could connect this directly to my router and print from either of my machines. However, when I plug the supplied network cable from the printer to the router, the router LED for the new connection does not light. What do I need to do? I have tried the HP printer help robot but it is, naturally, quite useless.
Network connection or rarther, no network connection.
