New Pixma TS205 prints too light, please help

Hello everyone, I bought a Pixma but it seems there is something wrong with it, all pictures I am printing both on photo paper and normal paper become overexposed after printing them, and there is no way in the Mac settings to change the tone or modify Toner settings. Is there anything that I can do to fix this? Or is it just a crappy printer? Thank you
