NO Printer Services on Hp Deskjet D1455

I'm using Vista Home Premium 64 bit, and for some reason I've LOST the 'Printer Services' ability, an error message shows up: Unable to Perform Operation and consequently NO ink levels shows up, to see how much ink I have left. Updating the latest driver didn't work either. Are there any possible solutions to this printing issue?
