Hi guys,
I won't claim to be any sort of printer expert, so thought I would sign up and upload a quick scan of what my old OKI C3300 is doing. I purchased this printer second hand a little while ago but never had a chance to test it out until now. It's been a long time since I had to deal with any sort of printer so really have no idea what the cause is.
Essentially, it seems like toner (black, and some magenta in the example) is being incorrectly applied to a large section on the left and some on the right. It then repeats as the page passes through and is then fused as such.
I just need somebody still in the industry/etc that may be able to tell me exactly what needs replacing in this printer to fix this problem.
Is it simply a replacement of the black and magenta toner cartridge or drum unit or is some other fix required?
