Hi, I have the 980 fatal error message showing. I found some paper 'welded' to the fuser unit and have removed it and ensured the unit is clean and clear of any contamination. I have also rolled a sheet of paper though it which came out clear. It is still however showing the error. Any ideas? Also if I went down the route of buying a new (and expensive) fuser unit, would the error message go away?
