I replaced an empty OKI original magenta toner cartridge with a 'Cartridge Saver' compatible one but the printer still indicates that it is empty and needs replacement. I've previously used a 'Cartridge Saver' black toner and that one worked just fine. Is it possible/likely that the inbuilt counter chip is faulty and just to prove this, is it OK to take the chip from an unused 'Cartridge Saver' yellow or cyan cartridge?
